About Us
Meet Christine Thompson Granados
Founder & Instructor
I believe everyone can learn another language and it’s never too late to start.
I’m Christine, an Indiana-licensed Spanish and French teacher with experience as both a teacher and school administrator from 2013 to 2025. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Spanish Education from Indiana University Bloomington, a Master’s in Education Leadership from the American College of Education, and a J.D. from Indiana University’s McKinney School of Law.
I am passionate about working with all ages of learners, from tiny tots to seasoned adults. My teaching centers on comprehensible input, drawing on the work of Stephen Krashen. That means helping students acquire language through messages they can understand: engaging stories, conversations, reading, and meaningful interaction. My goal is to create a welcoming space where learners feel comfortable participating, making mistakes, and building confidence.
Language is also part of my everyday life. In my Salvadoran-American family, we speak Spanish and English, and our language skills have helped us connect with people during travels around the world. I’ve taught in Costa Rica and the United States and studied abroad in Alcalá de Henares, Spain, and Paris, France. I’m also learning German and Chinese, so I know firsthand what it feels like to be a beginner again!
I lead a team of instructors from across the Spanish-speaking and French-speaking world who are eager to share their languages, cultures, and love of learning. Together, we welcome learners of different ages, backgrounds, and experience levels.
Wherever you’re starting, there’s a place for you here.
